This privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes the practices of Partenaires d’infrastructure YHU (Québec)s.e.c. (hereinafter referred to as “YHU”) regarding the processing of your personal information, as definedbelow. More specifically, the purpose of this Policy is to explain how and for what purposes YHU collects,uses, shares, or processes your personal information, and how we protect the confidentiality of yourpersonal information when you visit our website (the “Site”), or communicate with us in person, by phone,or by email.

The personal information we collect about you depends on the nature of your interactions with YHU. Aspart of our activities, we collect the following information:

  • Communications with us including the information you include in communications withus, for example, when sending a customer support inquiry.
  • Professional information, including your name, email address, and any other informationyou provide such as employment history and education, when you apply for a position withus.

  • Usage information including information regarding your interaction with the Site, includinghow and when you interact with or navigate the Site.
  • Images captured by our surveillance cameras when you visit YHU Terminal. Theserecordings may include your image, your presence in certain areas, and the time of yourpassage.
We may collect personal information from the following sources:
  • Directly from you, including when you visit the Site, communicate with us, or otherwiseprovide us with your personal information;
  • Automatically through the Site or through a connection to our Wi-Fi service, includingfrom your device when you use our r services or visit our Site, and through the use of cookies and similar technologies (Please see the Cookies, Online Tracking andAdvertising section below for additional information on this);
  • From our surveillance cameras, when they capture images of you during your presenceat Terminal YHU; and
  • From our service providers including when we engage them to enable certaintechnologies and when they collect or process your personal information on our behalf.

2. How We Use Your Personal Information

Depending on how you interact with us, we may use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Provide, Tailor, and Improve Our Services and the Site. We may use your personalinformation to provide you with our services through your visit at the YHU Terminal(including the use of our Wi-Fi service) or on our Site. This may include using your personalinformation to better tailor and improve the Site.
  • Marketing and Advertising. We use your personal information for marketing andpromotional purposes, such as to send marketing, advertising and promotionalcommunications by email, text message or postal mail, and to show you onlineadvertisements.
  • Surveillance and Security. We may use your personal information to detect, investigateor take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal, unsafe, or malicious activity, protectpublic safety, and to secure our services. This includes, in particular, the use of images orrecordings captured by our surveillance cameras installed on our premises, which may beused to monitor and secure sensitive areas, prevent and document security incidents orsuspicious behavior, investigate accidents, theft or damage, and ensure the control andprotection of physical access.   • With service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., IT management, Wi-Finetwork, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage).

The Site is not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about individuals under the age of 16.
