Per seat of domestic aircraft capacity
This fee applies to the use of the airport terminal infrastructure, including check-in counters, common areas, passenger lounges, passenger boarding bridges and all other facilities required to support a seamless passenger journey through the Terminal. Garbage disposal and lavatory waste disposal are also included. The fee covers a standard aircraft turnaround time of ninety (90) minutes.
Per departing domestic connecting passenger
Any passenger who deplanes from one flight and subsequently boards another flight at the Terminal is subject to this fee.
Per domestic origin-and-destination (O&D) passenger
This fee covers the repair, maintenance and operation of baggage facilities, including infrastructure, labour, electrical services and the overall management of baggage operations.
Passenger Facility Fee (PFF)
Per domestic origin-and-destination (O&D) passenger
The Passenger Facility Fee covers costs associated with the Terminal's facilities, including airside and landside security infrastructure and capital assets. It also supports the maintenance, operation and upgrading of these facilities to provide a high-quality experience for passengers and airlines using the Terminal.
Terminal Security Screening Fee (TSSF)
Per domestic origin-and-destination (O&D) passenger
Since YHU Terminal is not a designated airport as per the current legislation, the Air Travelers Security Charge (ATSC) – a fee levied on airline tickets in Canada to fund aviation security services provided by the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) – is not collected by the airlines flying in and out of the MET – Montreal Metropolitan Airport. YHU Terminal is instead required to pay CATSA directly on a cost-recovery basis for all costs associated with the passenger screening fee as per the mandate of the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority. Subject to change by CATSA.
